Peanut Butter Cookies
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup chunky peanut butter
1/3 cup sugar (plus 1/2 cup sugar for rolling)
1/3 cup light brown sugar (packed)
1 egg
2 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
Preheat oven to 350°F
In separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Cream butter and peanut butter. Beat in sugars. Mix well. Add egg, milk, and vanilla. Gradually blend flour mixture into butter mixture.
Shape dough into 1/2" balls, roll in the 1/2 cup sugar, and place onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Using a fork, press down on one side, then turn perpendicular and press on other side. Bake 10-12 mins. at 350°F until cracked and light brown. Cool on wire racks.
